Our regulars know that our menu changes regularly so what you see on our website is only a representation of what you can expect to see when you arrive. We pride ourselves on using farm fresh, organic and sustainable ingredients so when a supplier shows up with amazing food - we cook it! Sometimes it doesn't make it to the website
Our current menus and wine lists are posted as often as we can, and feel free to call ahead if you have questions!

Tue, December 24, 2013We are closed from Christmas Eve at 2pm until December 27, 2013 at 11am when we reopen for lunch and dinner service.
On New Years Eve, we are open for lunch and dinner, and have a special brunch planned for New Year's Day. We will be closed for dinner on the evening of Jan 1, 2014 and will reopen with normal business hours on Jan 2, 2014.

Thu, September 19, 2013We are pleased to announce that Caithlin Hall has joined our culinary team at Canyon. Caitlin started her career at the Four Seasons Hotel in Whistler, BC. She then travelled to Australia where she worked for over a year in some of the country's most prestigious restaurants. Upon her return to Vancouver, she was invited to join the team at Pied a Terre, where she was the Chef de Cuisine for 3 years and developed a passion for classic French cuisine. At the age of 24, she was a successful competitor on Season 3 of the Food Network's Top Chef Canada. Caithlin joins the team at Canyon where we share her passion for simple, well balanced, and "un-fussy" food.
Sat, July 13, 2013When the weather gets hot, our dishes are inspired by farm fresh local fruits and veggies and of course, fresh seafood. We also keep our old faves' so don't worry if you have a hankering for Bangers and Mash in 30 degree heat - we've got it for ya!

Fri, January 18, 2013It's been a big week at Canyon and we can now share our opening schedule. We will be hosting a few private events this weekend to give our staff the chance to work out the kinks before we open our doors.
We'll be open for business as of TUESDAY, January 22 for dinner only and for brunch starting on SATURDAY, January 26. We're really looking forward to meeting those of you we haven't met, and hosting those of you who already know us!
Please also note that we are participating in Dine Out Vancouver so will have our a la carte menu as well as a Prix Fixe menu option for those that want to check us out.

A NEW CANYON TO TRAVERSE
North Vancouver, BC… Great new things for the New Year often start at home, and Chef Scott Kidd is starting 2013 with a brand new endeavour in his very own neighbourhood of Edgemont Village. Kidd will open Canyon in the former Edgemont Village Bistro by mid-January, just in time for Dine Out Vancouver. North and West Vancouverites need not worry about bridges to try something new, it’s right in your backyard. Canyon is located at 3135 Edgemont Blvd., North Vancouver.
Canyon is the essence of Scott Kidd and his journey through culinary life. A passion for food, love, respect and a healthy dose of light hearted fun, Canyon is described by Kidd as a neighbourhood joint; bistro style with casual elegance and always a sense of humour. The cuisine focuses on local products of course, some old style favourites (can you say Sunday night fondue?), Kidd’s legendary use of bits otherwise known as offal and of course, new items inspired by his new location.
About Chef Scott Kidd
Chef Scott Kidd has quite the history in the BC dining scene. Starting his culinary career at the renowned Sooke Harbour House on Vancouver Island, Kidd developed a passion for all things local long before it was a trend. Deciding on formal training, Kidd studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. His pedigree in Vancouver is a veritable who’s who of the best in Vancouver dining. He first hit the scene with Le Gavroche in its heyday of the mid to late 1980’s, then moved to create Lola’s and has held Executive Chef positions with some of the region’s finest restaurants including The William Tell, Bishop’s, Raincity Grill, Araxi (Whistler) and most recently Lift. This is a chef who started the “support local” movement in BC along with the likes of John Bishop and Robert Clark.
